In this workshop participants are invited to build raft structures together using bamboo, buckets, and bicycle tubes. We will carve Bamboo, implement organ pipes and listen to the water perform it while the ship is sinking. The construction will serve as the foundation for the floating KUBUS, which will act as a mobile venue for the Dessi Soli event on the following day.

The Workshop is a collaboration of Setzkasten Kubus and Maas Lab nomadic laboratory and will be hosted by Martin Simpson & Stefan Voglsinger. Maas Lab is a collaboration between the river Maas, artists platform SoAP and TAAT. Maas Lab is part of the Innovatielabs#2 program, funded by the Creative Industries Fund NL.
