Die wesentlichen Angelpunkte und Aspekte des aktuellen Soloprojekts sind unterschiedliche Spieltechniken zur Erzeugung nicht herkömmlicher Trompetenklänge und Einbezug der Singstimme. Zur Erweiterung musikalischer Formen und flexibler Abläufe wendet Thomas Berghammer ein Modulsystem an.
Instant Composing, improvisatorisch spontanes Kreieren von Strukturen und Übergängen schaffen zum Öffnen neuer Klangfenstern, sind weitere Aspekte dieser musikalischen Auseinandersetzung. Für die aktuelle Aufführungen werde ich mich in unterschiedliche musikalische Genres begeben.

Angélica Castelló – ToTem / Suspended Noises
I want to explore a sonic world where sounds move between reality and the surreal. Playing and communicating with my analog cassette tapes, my flutes and exploring some digital tones, I weave complex sonic textures that reveal perhaps anecdotes, stories or hidden worlds. In this performance I would like to reflect both my own personal memories as well as some memories that appear in the machines themselves, somewhat dreamlike, somewhat lucid spaces. Inspired by my research on sound machines and their evolving and imperfect nature, this solo highlights how tape recorders, radios and some toys and objects -whether fully functional or worn out by time- reveal their materiality, personality and unique characteristics.
