Schrecken aka. David Schweighart
Mit “no bird singing – yet more quiet” legt der mehr als Kollaborateur bekannte David Schweighart (Loose Lips Sink Ships, Shrack!, Voodoo Jürgens, La Musa, … ) ein eigenständiges Werk vor: neun sehr unterschiedliche Stücke, manchmal schwer wie Rotwein, manchmal wie ein Countrysong aus dem Maschinenraum oder Rockmusik nach dem Reißwolf, doch stets eher dunkle Farben, denen meist etwas Besinnliches innewohnt. Der Schrecken in Schweigharts Liedern ist wohl eher ein zarter, der unter der Melancholie seiner Lieder mitzittert und in den eigenen Untiefen widerhallt, aber deshalb auch umso erschütternder.

Maria Thornton started playing guitar and singing in autumn 2012 by teaching herself and picking up techniques from different friends and musicians. Soon, she discovered her love for performing live and began organizing concerts with the band “Tonpiloten”. After this, she was part of “Beyond The Trees”, playing gigs all over Austria.
Music is a very strong tool of expression and communication for her. She is writing her own songs with lyrics about life’s stories, nature, emotions and the world.
At the moment, she is playing solo gigs and working on her new project.
