Tahereh Nourani

sound artist - composer - improviser (flute & bass)
Tahereh Nourani is a Vienna-based composer and sound artist focusing on electro-acoustic and experimental music. She is a member of QMA artist collective (2024), recipient of composition scholarship from Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts and Culture (BMKÖS), SHAPE+ Artist (2023) and winner of the PhonoECHOES Award for Experimental Sound Art (2021). She has performed at venues and festivals such as Belveder 21, RKH, Moers (DE), UH Fest (HU), Üle Heli (EE) and composed music for installations, film, Theater, contemporary dance and performances.
